Tonsils, who needs em?

Well, the big news around my house is that I'm tonsil-less. Here is me and mommy getting ready to go wear the mask. My monkey got to go back with me.
After my surgery my throat hurt really bad and I felt funny. I woke up and was in a room with strangers. Mommy came back to see me but I was still sad. I guess I didn't know that it was all-you-can-eat popsicle time. Someone should have mentioned that when I was yelling, not that I would have stopped.
After my surgery I was so tired but couldn't get to sleep. I had a roommate in the hospital so we kept each other awake. Not to mention, I couldn't get comfortable. Finally I fell asleep on the couch.
This morning I woke up and felt better. It was scary sleeping in the hospital. I kept waking up and didn't know where I was, so mommy ended up sleeping next to me. I think it might have something to do with the "bed" she was sleeping in. In the morning I had breakfast. I ate some jello. Mommy had a popsicle.
Here I am ready to leave. I set all my stuff out so mommy didn't forget anything while we were at the pharmacy.
.
I'm feeling okay but still not quite myself. My voice resembles Mickey Mouse and I don't have much of an appetite. Other than that I'm doing okay.

Oh, I was wondering when this would happen! I am so glad it's over and she's doing okay. There's nothing sadder than a little one in a hospital bed, is there? She took it like a champ! That's what being three is all about, huh? Happy Belated, sweetie.
