Labor Day - Part 1

We started our fun filled 3 day weekend with a trip to Lowes. Carson and I got to ride in the car cart. It was windy outside. It was fun until daddy told me that I couldn't hug, poke, kiss or even touch Carson. I mean he was sitting right there just asking to be squeezed. Mommy thought Carson needed to be picked up. I protested and daddy and I went to the car. We drove away to go home and my shoes were still in the cart. They must have fallen off during my protest. I'm glad we remembered so we could go retrieve them!!

When we go to the museum I get to go see one of my favorite people, Ron. Ron and I like to have long chats. He's a very good listener.

Carson got to go in a special room at the museum just for babies. Daddy let me go in there for a little bit but it wasn't all that. Carson seemed to have a good time though.

He got to try his luck at fishing. Typical fisherman, he got something on the line but just couldn't get it in the boat. I'll bet it was a real big one!!

I got to talk to the Wizard of Oz. At first he is kind of scary but then you can talk into a voicebox and say funny things that sound really weird. You can also make the lights and fire appear. It's not real fire, it's just a light and a blowing piece of fabric. You can't fool me any more with those low-tech effects.

Follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road....

The lion was sad because he had no courage. I feel for you friend!

After the museum we went to lunch and mommy managed not to fall on her bottom and drop the tray. She's getting to be so grown up. :) I'm a lucky girl!

Isn't that Wizard of Oz exhibit cute? Ella kept asking, "Where's the scary witch you warned me about?" Phew. Glad it wasn't there. (o:
