Our lawn got really long all of a sudden (you can't tell that by the brown patch behind me, but it was long). It's a good thing I got this lawn mower for my birthday. It's way better than daddy's mower, it blows bubbles and doesn't stink. The grass is hard to push through so I stuck to the sidewalk.
I'm such a sweet girl sometimes. We went to see Great Grandma and Grandpa and their new kitchen. It is pretty neat. I think if we looked back through pictures we would find one of mommy sitting in the exact same spot.
We went to dinner with Grandpa and Grandma. That grandpa sure does like to color.
On Sunday morning we went to an animal swap at the county fairgrounds. I don't know why they call it a swap, we didn't bring anything to trade. I guess maybe they consider money a good thing to swap for, it just seems odd. There were lots of fun animals there. Some were your standard puppies and kitties and then there were some crazy looking birds and rabbits. Grandpa was hoping to find some little goats but there weren't any for swap. There were several people walking around with furry animals stuck inside their jackets. It was a little odd.
I got to touch some little ponies and Guinea pigs but mommy said I couldn't touch the chickens or put my fingers in any cages with birds in them. I also had to wash my hands after touching them. My parents can be so crazy sometimes.
This is a picture of Speedy, Grandpa, Grandma and me sitting in my house. It is actually a corn crib but I like to pretend it is my house.
Grandpa took me to see this bird and when you push down on it's head it moves. Grandma has some strange stuff in her gardens.
When we got home from Iowa daddy and I got to work on mowing the lawn. In case you're wondering, I'm taking a little break.

I loved these pictures, esp. the one of Riley and grandparents in the "cage!" So cute. I hadn't ever heard of an animal swap... guess I haven't had the need for one, right?
