Construction Zone

I had a fever and stayed home with mommy. I figured I should be allowed to make phone calls now that I am 9 months old. I see the phone and I am pretty sure I know how to use it. If only I could get there quick enough to put it in my mouth before mommy takes it away. I will have to work out a plan!

One morning I woke up and grandma and grandpa were there. They put all of my things in the kitchen and took away my carpet. I had to sleep in the pack n play upstairs. I don't know what is going on. Mommy and daddy are sleeping upstairs with me. It was quite a nice surprise. I woke up and saw daddy. I tried to get his attention but then he put a blanket up so I couldn't see him anymore. I had nothing to do but go back to sleep.

The next weekend grandma and grandpa came up again with Uncle Zach. I haven't seen him in a long time! They put up all this plastic so they could make loud grinding noises in my room. I wasn't allowed to supervise so I had to spend time with Zach and grandma. Uncle Zach lets me watch TV because he says it is easy. Mommy scolded him.

I woke Mr. Rip Van Winkle at an early 10:30. He's such a sleepy head!

I stole his hat for a bit, it fit perfectly! I cruised around in my car wearing my fly hat.

It took forever for these guys to both be smiling. I got bored.

We got to stay overnight with Grandma Betty because of doing stuff to the floors. Grandma took us to the zoo. It was my first time at the zoo.

Grandma showed me monkeys and birds and other animals that I don't remember the names of. There were lots of fun things at the zoo!

If you look behind me you will see a leopard.

It was hot at the zoo, I drank my whole cup of water and then half of mommy's water. It's fun to share. I like the zoo!

Grandma keeps lots of magazines for me to look at. I like to pull them all out of the coffee table and peruse.
I found a spot in the floor that blows out cold air. It blows my hair. Daddy says I'm like Marilyn Monroe.

Mommy put my hair in a ponytail. She thinks it is pretty cute. I like to pull out the rubber band and then my hair sticks straight up.

I went to the farmer's market with mommy and her friends Katie and Alicia and my friends Ella, Norah, and Owen. It was fun. Mommy let me bit on a peapod, but I'm not sure what she expected me to do with it. There were lots of people there, great people watching!!
