Excuses excuses

My apologies for the 2 week hiatus. I could make up many excuses but I won't.

This is my spoon and no one is going to take it from me. This is the best toy ever. When mommy tries to take it from me I like to kick my legs and flail my arms. I don't mean this to be funny but I always seem to make her laugh. Needless to say, her laughing doesn't make me happy in this case!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Kuecker's house. Grandma bought me a new swing. It's so much fun and when I'm swinging it keeps the mosquitos off of me. I hear it is the state bird of Minnesota, but there are plenty of them in Iowa.

Grandma also bought me a wagon. I LOVE IT! Daddy took me for a ride. It is so much fun! I can't wait to bring all my toys along with me.

Grandpa likes to read me books. I like books!

Speedy felt left out, so daddy read him a book. I don't think he likes books as much as I do. I think left to his own devices he might like to taste books, but he's not very amused by reading them.

I got Grandpa's nose. He's silly!

Basking in the sun...another ride. This time we went to the pasture to see the animals.

I got to pet the goats Ricky and Bobby. It was so much fun. The sheep at the farm had babies and one of the lambs lost his mama. Grandpa had to jump over the fence to help him and the lamb ran away from him and made a "wheeeeee" sound. Grandpa was also trying to dodge the goat droppings. It was really funny, I had a good laugh.

There is so much to look at, I love my wagon!

I am not quite crawling yet, but I can pretty much roll anywhere I need to go. This is our cat. Mommy says she has been in the family a really long time. (She is ceramic.)

Give me that camera...give it to me. I got the strap, hand it over...

I can make a fishy face. This sends mommy in to fits of laughter. She thinks I'm cute.

I went to my first baseball game. It was fun but too long. Mommy thinks baseball should be 5 innings and I have to say that I agree with her.

Mmm...tasty.

I think I need a hat of my own. For now I will just have this one.

This weekend I will write more. We are in a construction zone right now as mom and dad decided to take all of my things out of my room, their room and the living room and then take out the carpet. The nerve! I hope things are back to normal soon!
