For my 9th birthday I got my ears pierced. As you can see I was very excited to have strangers physically poke holes into my ears.
No joke, it hurt. They said "little pinch" and "you'll love it when it's done." When they finished the woman asked me if I liked my earrings. I shrugged and said "they're alright."
In the end, I love them and think they look great!
