Bicycle Parade

Carson and I participated in the Funfest Bicycle Parade. We decorated our bikes with Marie. 

We parked our van and rode over to the start. There were a bunch of kids ready to go.

The parade route wasn't known ahead of time, so I drew my best interpretation of the route. As you can see, we ran into a little bit of a challenge in the middle of the parade when bikes were going both directions and running into each other. 

The guys riding in the golf cart weren't totally sure what they were doing. I'm thinking that they might have made the parade route up on the fly. The sidewalk got kind of narrow at the end of a little hill. We all kind of ran into each other.

The parade was a little less formal than I had anticipated. I expected more of an actual parade, but it was still fun. We also got to play at the park afterwards, but did not get to go to the fair. Overall it was a fun night!
