Maple Syrup Time

I love Girl Scouts!

We went to Dodge Nature Center to a Maple Syrup event. We got to use a drill and collect sap. It was too cold for the sap to run out into our bucket, but we helped the people at Dodge set up their bucket.

We watched a guy boil the sap over a fire. We got to taste some maple sugar.  It was delicious!

Then we got to taste some syrup, it was also delicious.

After Maple Syrup Time, mommy took me to my favorite restaurant, Jimmy Johns.  I am one lucky girl!
