Vacation: Day 1

So I'm super excited to report that we are on our way to North Carolina!  I have been counting down the months, weeks, days, hours, and minutes. We had to spend a lot of time getting ready for this trip. Our van is packed!  Mommy said we have a lot of food to eat while on vacation. Whoo hoo!

On our way to NC we are looking at license plates. I hope we find them all. So far we have seen a lot of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. 

We were supposed to take a nap in the car. How can I sleep when I'm so excited!?  I chose not to sleep. 

After quiet time I played the Nintendo DS that I brought along. It was fun, but more so because Carson really wanted to play it. :). We've been watching movies and eating snacks. A good trip so far!
