January catch-up

Sorry for the delay in posting! Grandma had to point out to mommy that she was falling far behind in my blog updating. Mommy has nothing but excuses.

Well here is my little bugaboo sitting like a big boy. Sometimes I even invite him to my tea parties.

Mommy and I were at Target and found some great deals on clearance. For instance, mommy got me my very own tent. I used to have another cardboard house but I don't know where that went. I took a nap one day and when I woke up my cardboard house was gone but this tent was here. Anywho, I love my tent. Mommy keeps remarking that the tent is much bigger than she had anticipated.

If you see behind me, that is my new kitchen...also a steal on clearance. It doesn't have a phone, but I do like it. It has a microwave and a place to make coffee. Mommy even took the side table from upstairs for me to serve meals on.

Carson caught my cold and ended up in the hospital for a day. They made him wear this funny outfit and had his arm strapped to a board. Thankfully he didn't have to stay in the hospital long and is recovering nicely. I missed him while he was gone!

Sometimes Carson and I like to cuddle while we watch TV. Mommy says I need to hold his head, I don't know if this is what she means. Thankfully she is always right there to take him in case I get tired.

We took a fun trip to IKEA! I got a new table and another chair so I could really do my tea parties right. After IKEA we went to a restaurant called McDonalds. It was delightful. I got a hamburger (who knew they had no dairy) and a box of apple juice and a toy. WHOOPIE! The toy was great. It was a stamp that I could use on paper. The cap kept falling off. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing my stamp after we left McDonalds. I will have to ask mommy about it.

Sometimes I just need to have a heart to heart with my brother. We need to divide and conquer to keep those parents in check.

Daddy and I tried to make a snow sculpture on our deck. The snow was too powdery though, it didn't stick together. I took the role as supervisor.

We went bowling with Grandma, Grandpa and Zach. I had a green ball.

The nice lady at the bowling alley found me this great ramp. I put my ball on the ramp and pushed it down the lane to knock the pins down. It was so much fun.

I had to wait for mommy and grandma to have a turn. Carson didn't get to bowl because he is too little but he liked cheering me on. Check out my awesome shoes!

Bowling makes me hungry. It is a good thing that mommy brought me a snack. Apparently bowling makes Grandpa hungry too. Lucky for him I shared my snack!

We will try to post again soon!

These are great, Jessica. I am so sorry to hear that Carson was in the hospital! Was he dehydrated?

We've been talking about taking the kids bowling... was it pretty fun? See you Sunday!
