Swimming lessons

Look at me, I can put my own hat on!

I found this box with all sorts of fun little white things. If you lick them they stick to your fingers and face. I don't know why mommy wanted me to put them back in the box. I think they are a nice addition to the room!

Sometimes the puppies from next door come out to see me. This is Dinky. I had to wait all weekend for him to come out and play.

Not only do I like to sweep the floor but I also like to close, lock and start the dish washer. I'm such a big help. NOTE: Mommy has never let me actually start the dishwasher and when I try to push the buttons she usually distracts me with something else.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and I helped serve snacks. It was my job to hand out the plates. I guess no one was hungry, or just didn't want to use a plate. Mommy said not to put the plates in my mouth but I figure this way I free up my hands to carry other things. Seemed like a good plan to me!

Ah swimming lessons, where do I begin.

Week 1: Mommy and daddy took me to a school that had a swimming pool. Mommy took me in the locker room to get dressed. She put me in this funny get up as well as a funny diaper. Then she took me out to the pool where daddy was wearing his swimming trunks.

Daddy and I decided to sit by the water. For whatever reason daddy decided to get in. The next thing I knew he turned around and wanted me to get in the water. I tried to get away but he was too quick.

It was FREEZING! Swimming is not my favorite thing. Why is the water so cold?

Week 2: Swimming lessons didn't go much better the second time around. Daddy was on a trip so mommy and I went by ourselves. Mommy set me down so she could take off her towel and I slipped on the slippery floor. I got a big bump on my forehead. It hurt.

I got a new chair. I like to carry it around so I can climb on things. I can climb on my kitchen. Daddy doesn't like me to climb on my kitchen but I hear that climbing strengthens my core, I guess I will just have to find something else.

My chair had to go sit in time out. It kept tempting me to climb.
