My first birthday party!

I had a great week. Monday mommy took off work and we hung out the whole day. We started out by going to the park. Then I got my picture taken. We saw daddy's office and had lunch. Then we went to look at flowers. I lost a shoe along the way. I don't know why mommy even bothers with them.


Sometimes my carseat can be quite comfortable. I just kick back and relax.


On Saturday I had a birthday party. Grandma was at my house when I woke up from my nap.


When I went outside my friends were there.


My birthday cake...I didn't eat any of it, but I hear it was good.


My birthday cupcakes, they were yummy!


Mommy and I tried to practice blowing out candles but when it comes right down to it I just don't understand the point of candles. I mean really, what is the point?


Huh...this is curious. Mommy left this whole thing on my tray. Usually she just gives me a little piece of food. This is interesting.


Interesting and so yummy! I can't believe I get to eat this whole thing.


After we had cake we went downstairs and mommy put me by some pretty boxes. I felt the need to organize the CDs but daddy made me stay with the boxes. Maybe when he is not looking I can get back to my work on the CDs.


In one sparkly bag I found this fun box. My new friend Tyler helped me play with it. I thought it was very funny!


Uncle Zach came from college to my birthday party. He gave me a card with a monkey on it.


Greatgrandma and Grandpa Zander also came to my house for my birthday.


I'm not ready for winter!!! Where has the summer gone?
